YIKES! Where's my Mojo??
Hi everyone! Happy Monday... did you have a good weekend? Halloween?
Since I don't have any kids Halloween is not a big event for my husband and I, but this year we went over to one of my studio family's houses. Their oldest son set up a haunted house in their basement and I ended up being a person in that! HAHA! It was really fun to scare people.. everyone seemed to like it!
My card today is for the Mojo Sketch. Unfortunately, I seem to have LOST my mojo! I am not really that pleased with how this turned out, but oh well! The upside is that I used more Little Felt Flurries! I bought these last year from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I never really used them... so my goal has been to use them up on some Christmas cards this year! I think the reason I didn't use them last year was I got them too late into the holiday season and I ran out of time to make cards!
I used the current set, SEASON OF FRIENDSHIP for my main image and the retired set Fancy Flexible Phrases for my sentiment. The paper is non-su by Basic Grey. I won an entire 12x12 pack of it last year in a contest, so I am trying to use it up! I believe the LITTLE FELT FLURRIES are still on the clearance section of my online store for an unbelievable price! I think they would look really cute on packages!
Card Details:
Paper: Baja Breeze (retired), Chocolate Chip (#102128), Whisper White (#100730), Figgy Pudding DP (non-su)
Ink: Baja Breeze (retired), Riding Hood Red (retired), Chocolate Chip (#100908)
Stamps: Season of Friendship (#111776), Fancy Flexible Phrases (retired)
Accessories: Vintage Brads (#109109), Riding Hood Button (retired), Linen Thread (#104199), Small Oval Punch (#107304), Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430), Adhesive Rhinestones (non-su), Little Felt Flurries (#113697)
I hope you have a great Monday!!!

Love the colors Riley and those little felt snowflakes are SOO cute.
ReplyDeleteRiley, you're too hard on yourself - lol. This is a great card and I love the layered snowflakes and the small pop of red!
ReplyDeleteOh Riley, we are more critical of our own work! I love your card... If my cards looked this good when my Mojo was missing I would be really happy! LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove those felt snowflakes and the darling little bling on your snowflakes. A lovely card!
ReplyDeleteI love your card ! Great job !
ReplyDeleteI particularly like this card even if you don't! I know how that goes... My favorite part is your layered and lovely snowflake!
ReplyDeleteWell, I think you did a great job. Sounds like a fun Halloween, too!

Riley, this is beautiful! Love the way you used the tree, with the snowflakes and the diamond in the middles of them! Great card!
ReplyDeleteWe all are our toughest critics. I was thinking how much I liked it - especially the snowflakes. But we are a lot alike - I will do something and then think - "Oh, let's just trash this and start over." I look at other creations and think "OH YEAH!!!" Maybe the ones we are not crazy about are ones that we attempted to do and are not quite our style. Who knows, but I think this turned out great!
