Back to Two Card Wednesdays!
I am so happy to be back with my Two Card Wednesday! It's been a while since I've had two cards to show you! I hope my new schedule continues to allow me to bring two new cards each Wednesday... although I'm sure there will be some weeks that I won't be able to!
My first card is for today's Sketch Challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers and for today's Color Throwdown to use Rose Red, Old Olive, More Mustard, and Chocolate Chip (you could also use Regal Rose, but it didn't make it into my design).
To give the card more "pop", I mounted all the layers with dimensionals. You can't really see this from the photo, but it does give it a lot more dimension and interest. This definitely won't be a card I will be mailing... the postage would be outrageous! HAHA!
Card #1 Details:
Paper: Whisper White (#100730), Chocolate Chip (#102128), Autumn Vine Dp (retired), Summer Picnic Dp (retired), Throughly Modern Dp (#115673)
Stamps: Season of Friendship (#111776), Teeny Tiny Wishes (#115370)
Ink: Chocolate Chip (#100908), Old Olive (#102277), More Mustard (#103162), Rose Red (#101778)
Accessories: Hodgepodge Hardware (#111325), Rose Red 1/4'' Grosgrain Ribbon (#111366), Small Oval Punch (#107304), Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430)
My second card today is for today's Color Dare color challenge to use Lavender Lace, Green Galore, and Very Vanilla.
I have to be honest and say these are not colors I would normally gravitate to, but I do like how this turned out!
I added black to ground the colors a little bit... it added a little more contrast which I think is what this color combo needed.
Card #2 Details:
Paper: Green Galore (#101768), Basic Black (#102851), Very Vanilla (#101650), Lavender Lace (#101614), Rainbow Sherbert Dp (retired)
Stamps: Sincere Salutations (#115068), For All You Do (#115360)
Ink: Basic Black (#101179), Green Galore (#102122)
Accessories: Sheer Black Polka Dotted Ribbon (non-su)
*Remember, all current Stampin' Up products can be bought in my store, 24/7!
I hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by!
