You're Too Kind

Happy Sunday everyone! It's Sunday and that means there is a new Featured Stamper challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers!

This week's stamper is Angella Crockett! I picked this card to CASe!

I changed the layout (I used yesterday's i-{heart}-2stamp), the sentiment, added designer paper, and ribbon!

I really love how this came out!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Candles & Wishes

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!!

This card is for today's Friday Sketchers and for the new challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers called Free For All!

For the Free For All, we were to concentrate on Textures, Colors, and Paper!

I went non-traditional on my texture. I could have used some embossing folders, but I decided to dive into my designer paper collection and found the Walk in the Park dp (retired) that has great textured patterns. I also added texture by popping up the sentiment on dimensionals, adding brads, and making an embellished bow.

We were supposed to use a color that we don't normally gravitate to. That color for me is Cameo Coral. I actually love this color, but for some reason I always forget to use it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Pals Paper Arts Challenge

Hi everyone! It's sunny here this morning, but the wind is whipping and it's down right COLD! I can't lie... I am sooo ready for spring and summer!

This card is for today's Pals Paper Arts challenge. It was an inspiration challenge. I basically just took from the bird images and went from there.

I wanted to use my new Sweet Pea designer paper. This image is from the level 2 hostess set, Wings of Friendship. You can earn it free by placing a workshop order of $300 or more!

I am really happy how this came out!

I stamped the main image with markers on the main image, then I stamped again on scrap paper, cut out, and mounted on dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday.... to me?

I made this card for this week's ColourQ to use Melon Mambo, Regal Rose, Green Galore, & Apricot Appeal... I cheated and used So Saffron instead. I hope that's okay!

It's also for this past Sunday's Sweet Sunday Sketch!

I used the set, On a Pedestal. I really have a hard time using this set. I don't know what it is... but it's hard for me. I think this card came out okay I guess!

I stamped and cut out the main image and popped them up on dimensionals.

You're too Kind!

Wow, I've been away for a while... too long if you ask me! I have been on a whirlwind as we are going into our competition season at the studio.

We had a competition last weekend which was local, but I was tied up and didn't even have time to stamp at all!

Today is my birthday and I was determined that I was going to make something!

This is for today's sketch challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers and for today's Color Dare!

The flowers are from the Sale-a-Bration set, Happy Moments and the sentiment comes from the SAB set, Whimsical Words. You can earn BOTH for FREE by placing an order of $50 or more. (you get one free set with every $50 you spend, so to get both sets for this card, you would need to place an order of $100 or more)

I stamped the flowers on the whisper white cardstock, then I stamped it on a piece of Bashful Blue designer paper from some retired prints called Spring Flowers. I cut them out and mounted them on dimensionals. I did the same for the Kiwi Kiss leaves.

The only thing on the card that is non-SU is the adhesive pearls I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Masterpiece... HAHA

Here's another card... I made this one for the Basic Grey challenge today which is a sketch!

I really love how it turned out!

With Sympathy...

Ok, here is my 2nd card for this weekend's stamp weekend! I posed a challenge to use: Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Bordering Blue, and Always Artichoke!

I wasn't sure what I was going to do, but I found the Fall to Layout for this week and then it just came together! Darra gave me the idea to make a sympathy card.. haha, I think that means she needs some!

Hello Baby!

This weekend I was supposed to join my mom and aunt at my grandparent's house for a stampin' weekend, but unfortunately the snow really messed up my schedule and I had to stay home and work.

I am "virtually" playing with them and this is my first card! I used a sketch from The Sweet Stop and I went with a baby theme because my friend needed a card for a baby girl and I didn't have any in my stash!

I pulled out my new bird punch from SU! for my main image. This has no stamping on it all!

I love how this came out!!

Colour Q Valentine

Hi everyone! I was asked to be a guest designer for this week's ColourQ challenge! I really had fun with these colors and enjoyed whipping up this really easy and fun card!

The hearts were punched with the new heart punch from SU! Everything else is pretty self explanatory!

We are getting hit with another round of winter weather and I am home from the studio again... its seems like spring will NEVER get here! I am hoping we are done with it after this... at least give us a couple of weeks with out snow or ice!

Have a great one and I hope you can play along in the challenge!

Thinking of Spring

I'm on a roll today.. here's a card for this week's Colour Q and last week's sketch from Splitcoast Stampers!

I pulled out an old set, Tart & Tangy... the color combo just kind of drew me to that set since it was so fresh and bright!

This card came together pretty easily and I love the mix of the different designer papers!

I {Heart} Friends

Hi everyone! Guess what? It's snowing... AGAIN!!!! it's really coming down... luckily I live on a city street where they scrape regularly, but I just saw it come down and scrape about 10 minutes ago and the road is already white again! It's crazy! They are saying we could get up to a foot of snow, so we shall see what happens!

Luckily, the snow means I got to STAMP!

This card is for Wednesday's sketch challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers and for this week's Color Throwdown!

I was excited that one of the colors this week was Soft Sky... then I got sad because I realized that I didn't have any more of that color cardstock. It was one of my favorite colors of all time and I keep hoping SU will bring it back... so far they haven't though... boo!

I pulled out my *new* I {Heart} Hearts set to make this card. I really love the different hearts they have! I matched it with the Teeny Tiny Wishes set. I had to dig down in the depths to find some soft sky designer paper and luckily I did find a piece of the old Afternoon Tea dp!

Thanks for stopping by... I hope you have a great day!!

Color Dare #54

Hi everyone! I have been away for about a week, but there's a good reason! My dance studio had their first major competition of the season over the weekend. It was in North Carolina... and at the same time that we got about 10 inches of snow at home and in NC they got a little bit of snow and a lot of ice and sleet! Yay, fun times...haha!

Today is Wednesday and that means it's time for another Color Dare Challenge, found here!

I really love the colors this week because they bring back a few of my favorite in-colors from last year, Kiwi Kiss & Baja Breeze! I always liked Pacific Point, but I never seemed to use it as much. Luckily, I still had paper with these colors and I really like how it turned out!

This is also for Monday's Mojo Sketch challenge! I once again used the new Vintage Vogue set... I just can't get enough of it! I am going to challenge myself to use something different on my next card!

Thanks for stopping by and have a grea day!
