Birthday Blast

Hello!  Today is another set I'm making for my birthday gift set I'm making for someone for Christmas!  I decided I needed to make at least one masculine/boy set.  So, I used this cute firework image from the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge.  The colors for today's Color Throwdown were perfect, too!  The colors this week are Night of Navy, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, and Real Red.  I added Crumb Cake as a neutral.

This is also for the Little Red Wagon to use eyelets.  I used a jumbo eyelet on my tag!  The sketch is for today's Sweet Sketch Wednesday!

The sentiment is once again from the trust Teeny Tiny Wishes set.  The designer paper is from a hostess print pack and is in Real Red.  The ribbon is Night of Navy Striped Ribbon.  I used the linen thread to gather it.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Sweet Day

Hello!  I have a second project to share with you today.  This is another card and tag for the gift set I'm making for someone.  Once again, I used my Sweet Treats cricut cartridge to cut out the main image and the tag.  I used a color combination from my Color Coach: Pretty in Pink, Marina Mist, & Daffodil Delight.  I think it worked well for this project!

The sketch on the card is for today's Tuesday Morning Sketch.  It was perfect for my image!

The designer paper is retired called Tea Party.  The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up set, Crazy for Cupcakes.

Christmas Pizzazz

Good Tuesday morning to you all!  I hope your week is off to a great start!  This card is for today's color challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers and is also for the Papertake Weekly Challenge which happens to be a sketch this week.

I was excited that the color challenge used Pear Pizzazz, it's one of my favorite colors right now!  Just the perfect shade of green in my opinion.  The other colors we had to use were Crumb Cake & Whisper White.  Having a 3 color combination was a  little challenging with this multi-layer sketch, but I think it came out okay!

I pulled out my trusty Dasher stamp along with the Merry Christmas sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  The Pear Pizzazz designer paper I used is from the Nursery Nest designer paper pack.  The Crumb Cake designer paper is from the Neutrals Paper Print Pack.  The button brads I used are retired.  Everything else is current though!  The ribbon is Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding.

Happy Birthday Cricut

Hi everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Mine was great and I'm sad to see it come to an end.  I am in full Christmas mode now, as I have not started on anything that I am making for people... well, until today!  This will be part of an eight card set I am making for someone.  They will all be birthday themed.

Last Christmas, my dad gave me a Cricut machine.  I really haven't used it as much as I thought I would.  Basically because it kind of overwhelmed me and I wasn't sure how to use it.  So, over my break, I went on YouTube and watched several how-to videos.  This got me inspired!  Woo hoo!  This card and tag uses the Sweet Treats cartridge.  I paired it with all Stampin' Up products and love how it turned out!  I would love to see Stampin' Up come out with a line of cartridges for the Cricut... not sure if they ever will, but it's a wish!

I used the ever so handy Teeny Tiny Wishes set for my sentiment.  The designer paper is some retired hostess paper in Pretty in Pink.  The ribbon is retired wide grosgrain ribbon in Certainly Celery.  I used the linen thread to tie my sentiment on.

Contempo disaster?

I am really not sure how I feel about this card I made today.  Oh well, it is what it is!  HAHA!  This is for today's sketch challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers and for today's Color Throwdown challenge to use Real Red, Taken with Teal, Baja Breeze, and Chocolate Chip.

If you are wondering, Taken with Teal is a retired Stampin' Up color and I only had some scraps of it left.  The designer paper I used is the Elegant Soiree.  The ribbon is a retired satin ribbon in Chocolate Chip.  The set I used is Contempo Christmas.

Remember, you can order Stampin' Up directly from my website!  Check out the deals they are running this week!

Array of Sunshine on a Rainy Day

Today's card is for the color combination challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers and for yesterday's Techno Stamper's Sketch.

The colors for the challenge were: Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride, & Marina Mist.  All of these colors are featured in the Nursery Nest dp.  This is my first time cutting this paper up!  It's really cute and I love the patterns in it.

I used the hostess set, Array of Sunshine for my image and embellished with Marina Mist Brads, Marina Mist Scalloped Ribbon, and linen thread.

The main image is stamped and cut out and mounted on dimensionals.  I sponged the edges with Regal Rose for more dimension.

Clean & Simple Christmas Cheer

Hello!  I have been under the weather for the past few days and finally broke down and went to the doctor today.  Turns out I have a bacterial sinus infection on top of a virus... no wonder I feel bad!  Anyway, I have been in bed most of the day, but had to get up for a while and I made this card.

This is for today's Clean & Simple challenge on Splitcoast Stampers to make a winter or Christmas card.  This is also for Friday's Clean&Simple Fall-to-Sketch.  I always enjoy their simple designs. I did tweak the sketch just a little because my sentiment panel was going to cover up too much of my image, so I just put it below, hope that is okay!  I also added ribbon because, well, I love ribbon!  :)

I once again used my new Polar Party set for this card.  It's such a fun set!  I watercolored the trees with Stampin' Write Markers & an Aqua Painter.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great one!

Owl Thanksgiving

Hello!  I am back today with a Thanksgiving card.  I made this for several challenge:

Tuesday's ColourQ to use Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake & Whisper White

Saturday's CardPatterns sketch

I'm not going to lie... I am not sure I like how this turned out.  I struggled with it for some reason!  I think because I don't have many fall or Thanksgiving stamps and this color combo screamed autumn!  I had to improvise using my new hostess set, Warmest of Wishes and my Owl Punch

It is what it is, I guess!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Polar Party

Wow, it has been quite a while since I posted!  It has been a crazy autumn!  I moved my stamp room upstairs yesterday in the hopes of getting more stamp time in.  So far, it's working because I made this card this morning!

I bought this set, Polar Party about two months ago and I am just now inking it up for the first time!!  It's such a cute set for holiday cards.  I love how this turned out!

The designer paper I used is non-Stampin' Up.  Everything else is.  The color scheme is Night of Navy, Wild Wasabi, Riding Hood Red, and Baja Breeze.  It's a really fun and crisp combination for the holiday season!

Thanks for stopping by and I promise I will be around more!  Have a great day!
