Happy Thursday everyone! This week Thursday is more like Friday to me because I'm off work tomorrow to go to a stamping weekend with my mom, aunt, & cousin!

I am so excited!!!

This card is for today's sketch over at Sketches by Tamara and for today's Ways to Use It challenge on Splitcoast Stampers!

The Ways to Use it challenge was called Frugal Finds and we were to use supplies that we got a good deal on. Well, I got those prima flowers for free... someone gave them to me! That's as frugal as you can get, right? I also think using designer papers as embellishments is frugal because you get a lot in a pack and it only takes a little on a card, so it lasts for a long time! (sometimes too long... haha!)

Card Details:
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Cameo Coral, Pink Flamingo Dp
Stamps: Congrats
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Prima Flowers (by Prima), Large Oval Punch, Scallop Border Punch, Filagree Brad

*All supplies Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted!

I hope you have a wonderful day!!! I'm not sure I will be updating my blog until I get back on Sunday evening!!!

Designer Green Petals

Hello everyone! Somehow between doing laundry, packing and straighening up the house in preparation for a dance competition, I cranked out this card!

This is for today's Limited Supplies Challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers. We were to use any shade of green on our design and limited our layers and embellishments!

The sketch is from Friday Sketchers! I thought it was a fun one to showcase some OLD designer paper... yeah, that Orchid Paper is like YEARS old! This was my last piece of it though....

I used my Verve Visual Petals & Stems set for this. It's one of my favorites! I love how you can build your flower. So fun and cute!

Card Details:

Paper: Perfect Plum, Orchid Opulence, Gable Green, Orchid dp, Old Olive Dp
Stamps: Petals & Stems (Verve Visual)
Ink: Perfect Plum, Old Olive, Orchid Opulence, Gable Green
Accessories: Dimensionals, Linen Thread, Button Latte

*All supplies are Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted!

Have a great day! I won't be posting again until Monday probably because of our competition!

Stamps: Bella Blossoms

Craziest Combination Yet....

So today's Color Dare is probably the most uncomfortable yet, but I think you will see that it can make a really cute card.... here it is:

Apricot Appeal
Pumpkin Pie
Pink Passion
Bashful Blue

Remember, you can add neutrals! When uploading to Splitcoast Stampers, please use keyword CD03!
I combined my Color Dare card with the Sketch Challenge from Splitcoast Stampers!

Card Details:
Apricot Appeal, Pink Passion, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Basic Black, Jersey Shore dp, Maine Blueberry Dp
Stamps: Birthday Whimsy
Ink: Stazon Jet Black

I stamped the cake in different colors by using my markers to stamp! You just color in the image with the colors you want, huff on the stamp, and then stamp! It's easy and a great way to add color to your projects!

Celebrate Sweet Stems!

Good Monday morning to everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was pretty good... I am battling some sinus troubles, but other than that it was good!

Today's card is for the Mojo Monday Sketch!

I pulled out my Sweet Stems set that I feel like I haven't used very much and then I found this dp by Basic Grey that really matches well, so that's how I came up with the color combination!

The flowers are colored with a Rose Red & Pretty in Pink marker. Since I don't have a Kiwi Kiss marker, I used my ink pad and a blender pen! It works great!

I accented the ribbon with some of the Filgree Brads! They are so fun!

Card Details:
Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Kiwi Kiss, Watercolor Paper, Sultry dp (by Basic Grey)
Stamps: Fundamental Phrases & Sweet Stems
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Kiwi Kiss
Accessories: Filgree Brads, Rose Red Ribbon, Pretty in Pink Ribbon, Kiwi Kiss Ribbon, Pretty in Pink & Rose Red Markers, Blender Pen

I hope you have a wonderful start to your week!!!
