Whoa... What a Challenge!

Hi everyone! It's Tuesday and that means Arielle has posted a brand new color challenge over on ColourQ! This is also for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch!

I knew when I saw the large image panel, that I was going to pull out my old trusty Bella Blossoms. It's retired, but I still love making it dimensional!

This color scheme was quite a challenge for me. We were to use: Real Red, Taken With Teal, Bashful Blue, Basic Black, and Whisper White. I love the colors, but it was hard for me to bring them all together!

I subbed Riding Hood Red for Real Red, mostly because my Real Red pad is dried up and I don't have a refill. That will have to be on my next Stampin' Up order!

Card Details:
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Riding Hood Red Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Bella Blossoms
Ink: Taken with Teal, Riding Hood Red, Bashful Blue, Basic Black
Accessories: Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Scallop Border Punch

Thanks for stopping by!

Itty Bitty

Hi! It's Sunday evening and DH is deep into football, so I got an opportunity to escape into my stamp room and play in a few challenges!

I really like how this came! I always have a hard time using the Itty Bitty Buds set. It's one of those that I HAD to have and then I got it and have maybe used it a total of 3-4 times. I was happy that I made a card I thought was worthy with it!

Paper: So Saffron, Old Olive, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry Dp, Tea Party Dp
Stamps: Itty Bitty Buds
Ink: Melon Mambo, Old Olive, So Saffron
Accessories: Playground Button (old olive), Twine Thread, Adhesive Rhinestones, Melon Mambo Polka Dotted Ribbon, Silver Brads, Scallop Edge Punch

Color Dare #51

Hi everyone! It's Wednesday and that means there's another great color combination over on the Color Dare Blog!

I like this week's color combo and I have to admit that Garden Green really gets a bum rap. I actually think it's a very nice shade of green that doesn't get much respect!

I made a simple Valentine's Day card with this combo and used the Skipping Stones Design sketch!

I am supposed to get my new Stampin' Up goodies on Friday and I can't wait to play with them!!!

Card Details:
Paper: Kraft, Garden Green, Barely Banana, Razzleberry Lemonade Dp
Stamps: Love You Much, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Melon Mambo
Accessories: Melon Mambo Polka Dotted Ribbon, Hemp Twine, Silver Brads ,Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin; Write Markers

Colour Q & Mojo!

Hi everyone! It's been TOOOOO long since my last post, but it's just been a whirlwind since the end of the holiday season! I feel like this week is going much smoother and I'm not running around like a mad woman! It's a good thing because if I didn't get back to stamping, I think I was going to lose it!!!!!!

Arielle of the ColourQ invited me to be a guest designer for this week's color combination. I have to be honest that these colors were VERY scary to me at first! Then, I went back to the inspiration piece she had pulled the colors from and realized it used mostly Basic Grey with hints of the other colors: Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery, & Barely Banana. I decided to do the same and I LOVE how this turned out!

The layout is this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge! You can never go wrong with Julee's fantastic sketches!

I am still waiting on the arrival of my new Stampin' Up toys! I didn't pre-order anything because it was right near the holidays and I needed to budget my money to buy gifts for OTHER people and not myself! When the Occassions Mini & Sale a Bration were officially released, I placed my order right away! I even broke down and got the My Digital Studio! I am excited to play around with that as I have REALLY gotten behind on scrapbooking and I am hoping the digital way will be easier for me to keep up!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

All supplies on today's card, with exception of the rhinestones can be purchased from my online Stampin' Up store! Remember, for every $50 you spend, you get a FREE set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog!!!

Paper: Basic Grey, Whisper White, Barely Banana, Certainly Celery, Pumpkin Pie, Walk in the Park Dp
