Berry Friendly

Hello!  Happy New Year's Eve!  I haven't stamped in a few days because I have been un-decorating and cleaning the house.  If it didn't get done by yesterday, then it probably wouldn't have gotten done until next weekend, and that was unacceptable for me!

This card is for two challenges:
For the inspiration challenge, we had to find something from this Etsy store called Embroidery Everywhere.  I found this strawberry embroidery and it led me to my Best of Everything set!  I just love the cute images this set has and the strawberry is one of my favorites.

Of course, I had to pair it with the Berry Blossoms designer paper.  This sketch allowed me to showcase some of the bigger print paper that this designer paper pack has.

The strawberry was stamped twice, once of the main panel and then once on a scrap and cut out and mounted on dimensionals.  The sentiment is punched with the word window punch, layered with the designer label punch and also mounted on dimensionals.

Supply list:
Paper: Whisper White CS, Calypso Coral CS, Lucky Limeade CS, Early Espresso CS, Berry Blossoms DP
Stamps: Best of Everything
Ink: Calypso Coral (used marker), Lucky Limeade (used marker), Early Espresso
Accessories: Paper Piercing Mat & Guide, Scallop Border Punch, Designer Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals

All items used on my card are current Stampin' Up products and can be purchased by visiting my online store... HERE!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

You Are Loved, Chupa

This week's featured stamper is the one and only, Chupa!  She was a design team member of the Color Dare for quite a while and I just love her style.  She makes the cutest cards!  I love going way back into the featured stampers gallery and picking a card from their earliest creations.  I found this card and picked it for my CASE.

I changed the stamp set to the You Are Loved set in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  (Hurry, this catalog goes away on January 3rd and this set will no longer be available!).  I kept her main color scheme by using Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, and Pretty in Pink.  I even stamped on colored cardstock which I NEVER do!  I like how it turned out, though!  Instead of putting the sentiment on a circle, I used some yummy Rose Red double stitched ribbon and tied a bow.  I kept her basic sketch as I thought it looked awesome!

Thanks for the inspiration, Chupa!

Here is my supplies list:
Paper: Pink Pirouette CS, Rose Red CS, Bella Birds DP (retired)
Stamps: You Are Loved
Ink: Rose Red, Early Espresso
Accessories: Rose Red Double Stitched Ribbon, Small Oval Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Basic Rhinestones, Stampin' Dimensionals

You can purchase Stampin' Up Products 24/7 from my online store by clicking HERE!

Have a great day!

Bella Bleu Vintage

I made this card yesterday.  My mom and I had a little stamp day at her house.  I am soooo in love with this new Sale-a-Bration set, Fresh Vintage.  I decided to pair it with the retired Bella Bleu designer paper and I absolutely love how it turned out!!

This is for yesterday's sketch challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers.  I wasn't sure how I liked it at first, but after my card came together, I really love how it looks.

I didn't use many fancy supplies on this card, but here's my supply list:

Paper: Crumb Cake CS, Not Quite Navy CS, Very Vanilla CS, Bella Bleu DP (retired)
Stamps: Fresh Vintage (available FREE Jan. 23rd when you place a $50 order or more), Best Blossoms (retired)
Ink: Not Quite Navy

Black & White with a Splash of Razzleberry!

Yay for another card for today!  I love how this ended up turning out!  Today's ColourQ is to use Basic Black, Whisper White and a color of your choice.  I chose Rich Razzleberry

I pulled out a hostess set that is in the main catalog called Array of Sunshine.  You can earn this set by hosting a workshop of $150 or more, or by placing an order of $150 or more.  It's one of my favorite current sets.  The sentiment is from the new Sale-a-Bration set, Elementary Elegance.  I love the script font of it.  You can earn this set beginning January 23rd!

This is also for today's Skipping Stones Designs sketch challenge.

The designer paper is from the Neutrals Print Pack

I stamped the main flower image in Rich Razzleberry, then cut it out and popped it up on Stampin' Dimensionals.  The entire main image panel is also raised on Stampin' Dimensionals.  The ribbon is polka dotted grosgrain in Rich Razzleberry (retired).

Thanks for stopping by!

Elements of VT Style

Hello!  Have you recovered from the holiday rush?  Today is my resting day... okay, really it's my stamping day!  HAHA!  We finished up our last family event yesterday evening, so I am excited to be back in my craft room.

This is a little "warm up" card if you will, although it took me forever to make!  It's for two challenges:

Mojo Monday sketch challenge
Use it Tuesday challenge

The Use it Tuesday challenge is one I just found and I love it's goal.. to make you use things in your stash!  This week's challenge is to use your favorite sports team's colors.  I picked Virginia Tech.  I came up with the closest colors I could, Bravo Burgandy, More Mustard, and Crumb Cake.  On this card, I ventured into the land of the lost Prima flowers.  I have tons of them and NEVER use them... so, this was my main challenge to myself.  I also used some retired Autumn Vine designer paper that I have been hording!

The stamp set used here is Elements of Style.  I colored the image with Stampin' Write Markers and an Aqua Painter.  The ribbon is Striped Ribbon in Early Espresso.  The flowers are Non-Stampin' Up.

Thanks for dropping by!  I might have something else to share later!

Colour Queen Courtier

I logged on to see today's color challenge over on the ColourQ and guess what?  My card from last week was picked as a Colour Queen Courtier!  I just had to share with everyone!  Here is the card I made for this challenge:

I will be back with a new project shortly!

Fresh Vintage - Sneak Peek

Everyone loves a sneak peek, right?  I thought it would be fun to break away from the Christmas scramble and show you a card I made using the upcoming set and some supplies from the Sale-a-Bration catalog!  This is called Fresh Vintage and you will be able to earn it FREE with a $50 order beginning January 24th!

The other supplies on this card that you can earn FREE beginning January 24th are: Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper (shown here as the bottom Calypso Coral panel) and Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack (I just used two of the brads in Lucky Limeade).

The other designer paper layer in the circle is from the current Berry Blossoms designer paper.  You can order it by clicking HERE!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi!  It's been a while since I've updated.  I have been busy with Christmas festivities and such!  I had a break today and decided I needed to make a few more Christmas cards.  I haven't used this image from the Hostess Set, Warmest of Wishes which is only available in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini!  This mini catalog goes away on January 3rd, so if you want something, please go to my Stampin' Up Website and click ORDER NOW!

This is for two challenges:
Monday's Mojo Monday Sketch
Tuesday's ColourQ Color Combination: Lucky Limeade, Glorious Green (retired), Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake & Whisper White

I have to admit that the Lucky Limeade paired with the Glorious Green really threw me off.  I think I made it work ok, though.  What do you think?

Keurig Coffee Box

Hello!  For the past two days, I have been working on these really cute Keurig Coffee Boxes!  I found a tutorial online, but beware; the original measurements for the bottom of the box are not correct.  Look down the thread for the updated dimensions, otherwise, your box won't work.. trust me, I know!  I started mass producing before I realized the dimensions were wrong!  Keurig K-Cup Box Tutorial.

I dug up some old retired supplies for this project.  The bottom of the box is made with Chocolate Chip card stock.  The top is made from the retired Close to Cocoa and the insert inside the box is made from the retired Creamy Caramel.  The designer paper I used is retired Close to Cocoa designer series paper.  The main image is from the retired set, Like it a Latte, although, I used the sentiment from the current Morning Cup set.

Once I got the dimensions right, these were fairly simply to make!  Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Tag

Hello!  It's Wednesday, we are half way through the week!  I am working on my tags for Christmas gifts and came up with this!  I had some help with it from the ColourQ to use Poppy Parade, Cool Caribbean (I don't have any of that left, so I used Pool Party), Certainly Celery, Crumb Cake & Whisper White!  They had a twist this week to make anything but a card!  So, this worked out perfectly!

This is also the Creative Inspirations challenge to make something with snow on it!  This lead me to use this cute image from Tags for Christmas.

I used my Cricut to cut out the tag.  The designer paper is retired called Wintergreen.  I used some non-Stampin' Up silver brads that I had laying around.  The jumbo eyelet is also retired from Stampin' Up.  The ribbon is Ruffled Pool Party ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Christmas Cute

Hello!  It is a really dreary Tuesday morning here... I kind of wish it was snowing instead of just raining, but they say we might see some snow Wednesday night and Thursday morning.  You never know around here, though.  We normally either get absolutely nothing or end up with an unexpected 12''.

Today's card is for the color combo challenge on Splitcoast Stampers to use Real Red, Wild Wasabi and Very Vanilla.  This is also for the Creative Card Crew challenge which was simply "Tis the Season".  It's also for the Papertake Weekly Challenge, "Anything goes".  Last, but not least, it's for the Skipping Stones Design sketch!

I absolutely love this image from the set Polar Party.  It's so versatile and fun!  The designer paper is from two different collections, the current Just Add Cake series and the retired Merry Moments.

I used the satin Very Vanilla ribbon along with a Real Red button and the linen thread for my bow treatment.  I colored my image with Stampin' Write Markers and aqua painters.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

CAS Four the Holidays

Good Monday morning!  I hope you had an enjoyable weekend!  As usual, it went too fast and here we are... Monday morning!  Today's card is for two challenges: Clean & Simple Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers to use twine and this week's Card Positioning Systems sketch.

I really needed a push to use some twine because I've had this baker's twine sitting in my stamp room for a while and haven't touched it!  It was nice to have the push to use some of it!

I pulled out some old designer paper, Ski Slope for this card. I had just the right sized scraps... don't you love when that happens??  It is some of my all time favorite Christmas dp, but unfortunately, I am down to scraps.  I was happy to squeeze out a card using some of it!

The sentiment is from the versatile set, Four the Holidays.  I always forget I have this set.  I thought the sketch was perfect for it!  I love the clean look of some designer paper and a simple sentiment.  Best of all, this will mail easily which is what I need!

I hope you have a fabulous day!  Thanks for stopping by and showing me love!
