Treat Box!

Hi everyone! I hope you have had a wonderful weekend! Mine's been pretty good....

I was playing around this morning and made this treat box based off the one in the June Stampin' Success demonstrator magazine.

I changed mine up a little bit though!

I think I'm going to make more of these to use a vounteer thank you gifts at my dance studio's recital in a few week!

I am also planning on making my first tutorial video with this as the project, so look for that coming soon!!!

Have a great Sunday!

Triple Challenge Card!

So this week has been absolutely insane! I finally got to stamp today... I haven't done anything in a while!

This is for 3 challenges from Splitcoast Stampers!

First we have Tuesday's color challenge which was Brilliant Blue, Purely Pomegranant, & Only Orange! I have to admit that I was having major issues making that color combo work, but in the end, I added white and it came out pretty cute!

Second, we have Wednesday's sketch challenge which was a really fun one!

Third, we have today's Ways to Use it challenge where we were to stamp the same image at least 2 times. You can see that I stamped the orange twice on this card... pretty self explanatory!

Card Details:
Paper : Only Orange, Purely Pomegranant, Brilliant Blue, Whisper White

Ink: Only Orange, Purely Pomegranant, Stazon Jet Black

Stamps: Tart & Tangy, Sweet Little Sentiments

Accessories: Embossing Folders by ProvoCraft, Brads by Making Memories, Dimensionals, Blue Satin Ribbon by Michael's

I hope you have a wonderful Thursday! I am counting down the days until the weekend!!!!!

May is Mother's Day & Flower Month!

The limited supplies challenge on SCS today was to make a card for a holiday that occurs in the month of May! You would never believe some of the crazy holidays there are!

Today is No Socks Day & Drink a Coke Day... did you know that? HAHA!

I decided to make a card for Flower Month & for Mother's Day.

I pulled out my Delicate Dots designer paper which was from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. I paired it with one of my all time favorite stamp sets, Live Your Dream and the most versatile sentiment set I ever bought, Fancy Flexible Phrases. Both are retired and I'm sad that neither one ever made it into the large catalog.... I guess there's always a chance they could appear in the 2010 book, but I doubt it.

I paper pierced the main image and then used a black gel pen to do my faux stitching... I like how it turned out! Everything else is pretty self explanatory!

Card Details:
Paper:
Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Delicate Dots DP

Stamps: Live Your Dream & Fancy Flexible Phrases

Ink: Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, & So Saffron

Accessories: Hodgepodge Hardware, Certainly Celery Wide Grosgrain Ribbon, Paper Piercing Kit, Black Gel Pen

*All supplies are Stampin' Up!

TFL! Have a great weekend :)

For You, Great Friend...

Happy Thursday! We are 1 day closer to the weekend... oh yeah!

My first card today is for the Ways to Use it Challenge over on SCS - to use Kraft Cardstock.... and the Beary Box Sketch for today!

I came up with this color combo and everything just kind of fell into place! I didn't have any Not Quite Navy ribbon, so I found some of this Blue Bayou that matched pretty well, so I went with it! HAHA!

Card Details:
Paper:
Kraft, Not Quite Navy, Cameo Coral, So Saffron, Whisper White, Kraft Print Pack, Pink Flamingo DP

Stamps: Great Friend

Ink: Not Quite Navy, Cameo Coral & So Saffron

Accessories: Adhesive Rhinestones by Michael's, Blue Bayou Double Stitched Ribbon, Not Quite Navy Brads, Scallop Border Punch

*All supplies are Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted!

Have a great day!

Trendy Birthday!

Happy Monday everyone! It's Monday and that means there's another great sketch over on the Mojo Monday blog! This week there's a prize, so make sure you check it out!

I love this sketch because it allowed me to use up some of this great Autumn Vine dp! I bought this back in October and I never really got to use it because I was delving into Christmas and kind of forgot about this paper!

I need several masculine birthday cards, so I thought today would be a great opportunity to get one knocked out!

Card Details:
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, More Mustard, Autumn Vine DP

Stamps: Trendy Trees & Sincere Salutations

Ink: Sage Shadow, More Mustard, Really Rust, Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Latte Button, Twine Thread, Wide Chocolate Chip Ribbon
