Flight of the Butterfly {revisited}

I am really having fun going through all my stamps that I haven't used in a long time.  Here is another one and this time it is still available to purchase!  Flight of the Butterfly used to be one of my go-to sets... I am so happy I dug it out for today!

This is for Friday's clean&simple fall-to-sketch and today's My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette to use Cherry, Blue, and Black.  I translated that into Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party, & Basic Black.  I love how this color combination turned out!

Supplies List:
Paper: Whisper White, Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler
Ink: Basic Black
Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly
Accessories: Butterfly Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Basic Pearls

Colorful Cupcake

Before I even go into my card, I have to say that I LOVE THIS COLOR COMBO!  This week's challenge over on Create with Connie & Mary is to use Concord Crush, Marina Mist, and Certainly Celery (I used Pear Pizzazz).  I wasn't sure how I liked the blue mixed with the purple and green, but it totally works!

I am trying to use some of my unloved sets that haven't seen ink in quite sometime.  This set is one that I have not used very much at all since I bought it!  It's called On a Pedestal and unfortunately is retired.

I used the Cupcake Punch to decorate the cupcake with dots and a candle.  I really love how it turned out!

Supplies List (with clickable links to current products you can purchase)
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Concord Crush DP (retired), Pear Pizzazz DP (retired)
Ink: Concord Crush, Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz
Stamps: On a Pedestal (retired)
Accessories: Concord Crush Stitched Poly Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Scallop Oval Nestabilities

Eastern Blooms

So, I pulled out an old set from my retired bin and made this card.  The stamp set used is Eastern Blooms and is retired.  This was one of the first sets I bought as a demonstrator and I forgot how fun it was to use and what great cards it makes.

I completed two challenges:
Color Throwdown to use Lovely Lilac (retired color), So Saffron, & Certainly Celery
Freshly Made Sketches

Lovely Lilac is a color I rarely used when it was current, so, of course I have TONS of it left!  I was thankful for this week's Color Throwdown so I could use up a little bit of it.

The branch image is colored with Stampin' Write Markers.  The main flowers are stamped on Whisper White, then cut out and mounted on Stampin' Dimensionals (of course, you know how I love dimensionals).

Supplies List
Paper: Lovely Lilac (retired), Early Espresso, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Tea Party DP (retired)
Ink: Lovely Lilac (retired), So Saffron
Stamps: Eastern Blooms (retired)
Accessories: Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Basic Rhinestones, Circle Nestabilities, Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker, So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker, Lovely Lilac Stampin' Write Marker (retired)

Colorful Balloons

Here's a second card for today, using one of my favorite stamp sets ever, Up, Up, & Away!  This is for two challenges:

This card actually took forever because my Stamp-a-ma-Jig and I were not getting along!  I added the color Indigo Island for the clouds.  I used my handy Color Coach to find a blue that would go with the color scheme!

The balloons are stamped and then cut out and mounted on dimensionals.  The ribbon is from this year's Sale-a-Bration and the button is a corduroy button in Pumpkin Pie.  I bought a pack of these from the Clearance Rack a while back.

Supplies List:
Paper: Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Lucky Limeade
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Island Indigo, Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, Basic Black
Stamps: Up, Up, & Away
Accessories: Scallop Border Punch, Pumpkin Pie Corduroy Button, Lucky Limeade Ribbon, Stamp a ma Jig, Stampin' Dimensionals

Bird Friends

I think my mojo is back! After yesterday's card, I was worried.  I managed to complete THREE challenges on this card:

To be honest, I wasn't sure how I would like this color combination.  It's not one I would pick on my own, but I love how it turned out!  I don't really have any designer paper with Tangerine Tango, so I dug into my stash and found this.  It's not Stampin' Up.

The stamp set is one of my all time favorites, Best of Everything.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, a must have, in my opinion!

Supplies List:
Paper: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Non-SU designer paper
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso
Stamps: Best of Everything, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Accessories: Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Old Olive Brads, Stampin' Dimensionals, Corner Rounder, Basic Rhinestones

Vintage Friends

Hello!  It's been a while, but I am back!  It's finally spring break, so that means the studio is closed and I have some time to stamp!

This card is for two challenges:
Mojo Monday Sketch
Pals Paper Arts which is a color challenge to use Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, and Chocolate Chip

I'm not sure I like how this turned out, but I guess it's okay!  I pulled out an older set that I haven't used in a while, Vintage Vogue.  I challenged myself to use the border image, I don't think I've ever used it before!

The designer paper is all retired.  The pink piece is from Tea Party and the Chocolate Chip is from Afternoon Tea.

Supplies List:
Paper: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Afternoon Tea Dp, Tea Party Dp
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink
Stamps: Vintage Vogue
Accessories: Certainly Celery Brad, Stampin' Dimensionals, Scallop Circle Die (non SU), Circle Die (non SU)
