Candy Dresser
Hi everyone! Happy Monday... I can't believe Thanksgiving is over... can you? That means I really need to get myself in gear making Christmas gifts!
I had originally planned for this cute matchbox dresser to be gifts for my dance student teachers... however, it took a little longer than I expected and I need to make 10. I think I will save this for someone else and think or something else for my assistants.
This was made using the matchbox die and the top note die. You cut four matchboxes and two top notes (actually, I used three so I could layer the top one). This is my first time making one and I am happy with how it turned out. I just wish it would have come together a little quicker.

Oh well... it's still cute!
Like I said, I am back to the drawing board with my assistant gifts. I am looking for something quick and easy, but that still is cute... if you have any ideas, please share them with me!

This is adorable :) Love the tiny drawers but can appreciate the time factor.
ReplyDeleteWow Riley! This is terrific! Have you thought of using a crimper and making little sour cream containers with a lottery ticket or candy? Great way to use retired DSP too!!!
