Birthday Butterflies
It's still raining.... it has been raining since Friday, it is now Tuesday... I'm over it! I know we needed rain really bad, but we've gotten too much in a short time and now things are starting to get a little dicey! Especially inside my house... YIKES.
Today's color challenge on Splitcoast Stampers was a nice and cheery combination that had me feeling the warmth of the sun. Today's colors to use are: Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, and Soft Sky. I added Basic Gray as a neutral. The sketch is this week's Mojo Monday sketch. It was supposed to be a tall and skinny card, but I just made mine a normal size.
I pulled out THREE stamp sets for this card. The background image on my main panel is from Watercolor Trio. The butterfly is from Butterfly Basics and the sentiment is from Elementary Elegance. I'm not sure the last time I used this many sets on one card, but I think it turned out great!
The designer paper is from a retired series called Polka Dot Parade. The ribbon and brads are also retired... you should know by now that I'm the retired product queen.. haha!
I hope you enjoy my card!
