Is Your Tummy Full of Turkey?
Hi everyone! I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving! Mine was pretty good! The only thing that could have been better would have been if I didn't start off the holiday weekend with a trip to the doctor for a sinus infection! I am feeling better, but It's still not completely gone!
This first project was very simple. I had actually bought the kit to make this a couple of years ago and never made it. I decided this year that I am going to use up all this stuff I have in my drawer to alter and give it away!
Over the holiday, I had time to work on some Christmas gifts... I can't believe it's already that time of year! AHHH! Oh well, at least I can listen to my Christmas music and people don't think I'm out of my mind! I started listening to it after Halloween... haha!

I am sorry for the poor photographs in the next couple of pictures, but it's so cloudy here today that I couldn't get a clear picture!
The kit is made by Junkitz and mine is the 6.6 size. I bought mine at AC Moore and i'm pretty sure they still sell them.
I covered it with some retired SU! dp, Cutie Pie. I used ModgePodge to seal it. The actual calendar comes in the kit, you just have to stamp the numbers. I added some rub ons to each side for some interest, added my brads to hold the calendar together and put ribbon on the top to hang it from! The 2009 is made with some stickers from American Crafts. What do you think?
Oh yeah, and I'm embarrassed that my stamp table has that much ink on it! HAHA!
My next project is another stationary gift set like I made last week. This time I used the retired Polka Dots & Paisley. I had tons of scraps and full sheets from the coordinating designer paper, so that is how I settled on this set! I was happy to use up some scraps!
TFL! I hope you have a wonderful day!
