Look What I Did!!!

So, it snowed a bunch last night and we finally had our first snow day... I talk like I'm still in school.. haha! But, when the schools are closed, so is the studio! It's great!

I had time to get 2 cards done so far today...

The first is for the technique challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers!

This is a crimped envelope pocket card! It was really easy to make! You can find the tutorial here!

The Bella Blossom is stamped and cut out and mounted on dimensionals. I stamped it in Baja Breeze and sponged with Night of Navy to give it some dimension. The leaves and stem are also stamped and cut out and mounted on dimensionals.

Card Details:
Paper: Whisper White, Night of Navy
Ink: Garden Green, Night of Navy, Baja Breeze
Stamps: Bella Blossoms
Accessories: Wild Wasabi Striped Ribbon, Sponge Daubers, Dimensionals, Paper Crimper, Large Oval Punch, 1 3/8'' circle punch

My next card is for the Featured Stamper challenge that was hosted yesterday on Splitcoast Stampers.

The featured stamper was a friend of mine, Kelly H! I was so excited to find out that she was the featured stamper! I had to CASE one of her cards! She has a great gallery, but this is one that I had favorited a couple of weeks ago and it just really stood out for me!

You can see the card I CASEd here!

  • Here's what I changed:
  • - The stamp set
  • - The size and position of the pearls
  • - I used Night of Navy instead of Brocade Blue
  • - I made my own designer paper w/ the Always in Bloom wheel!

I really love how this came out! Here are the basic details of this card:

Card Details:
Paper:
Night of Navy, Whisper White
Ink: Whisper White & Night of Navy
Stamps: Flower Fancy & Always in Bloom Wheel
Accessories: Adhesive Pearls (unknown vendor), Dimensionals, Sponge Daubers

*All supplies Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted!
