May is Mother's Day & Flower Month!

The limited supplies challenge on SCS today was to make a card for a holiday that occurs in the month of May! You would never believe some of the crazy holidays there are!

Today is No Socks Day & Drink a Coke Day... did you know that? HAHA!

I decided to make a card for Flower Month & for Mother's Day.

I pulled out my Delicate Dots designer paper which was from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. I paired it with one of my all time favorite stamp sets, Live Your Dream and the most versatile sentiment set I ever bought, Fancy Flexible Phrases. Both are retired and I'm sad that neither one ever made it into the large catalog.... I guess there's always a chance they could appear in the 2010 book, but I doubt it.

I paper pierced the main image and then used a black gel pen to do my faux stitching... I like how it turned out! Everything else is pretty self explanatory!
