What did you get for Christmas??

ballet, dance, thank you cards, stampin up, demonstrator, valentine bundleHi everyone!  I am sorry that I haven't updated in quite a while... 'tis the season!

Now that things are starting to get back to normal, I should be back on my stampin' schedule!

Today's Featured Stamper on Splitcoast Stampers is Barbara (stampfilled dreams).  I chose this card to CASE!

I need a lot of thank you cards for all of the great families at the studio that thought of me at Christmas.  I thought this design was quite easy to make in bulk!  The slippers are from a little stamp set one of my students gave me last year from Delta Creative.  I haven't used them before, but this was a great time to pull it out!

That brings me to my next exciting piece of news... I got some NESTABILITIES for Christmas!!!!  Yay!!!  I got circles & ovals!  I was so excited to get them!  I can be "in style" now... haha!  Anyway, I used one of my nesties for the scalloped circle on these.

Another great thing about these cards is they are made totall from scraps!  (except for the main card).  Yay for using up scraps!  I am trying to get rid of this really old designer paper from Stampin' Up!

Ok, so maybe the holidays haven't been the ONLY thing keeping me away from my stampin' room lately!  I started reading the Twilight series after rave reviews from some girls at the studio and I have to say that these books are the best I've ever read!  I read the first one, Twilight, in 24 hours... that's right, over 500 pages in 24 hours!  Trust me, it's worth it!  I'm on the 2nd book now, New Moon and am already 1/2 way through it.  I don't want to give too much away because it's such a good series of books, but if you're reading them, or have read them... let me know!  It's awesome to talk with people who have felt the same amazement as I have reading these books!

Ok, that's all for now!  Have a wonderful Sunday evening!
