Minecraft Birthday

I will admit... I have NO idea what Minecraft is.  I am pretty sure it's a game of some sort, but that's all I know!  Haha!  I made this card because my nephew's birthday is coming up this weekend and he's having a Minecraft party.  I figured I would see what I could come up with in my stamp room because I don't have many boy birthday cards lingering around in my stash.

I actually searched Pinterest for inspiration and CASed this card from PinkBlingCrafter.

I used my scoring tool to make a grid pattern on the Green Galore (that's right, Green Galore... a color that has been retired for eons yet I still had a full sheet of it!).  I made the face from the 1'' square punch.  The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners and is cut using the Bitty Banners Framelits.

I think it turned out pretty good... however, this would not be what I consider in my "style" of card making, but hopefully he will like it!

Supplies:
Paper: Green Galore (retired), Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Stamps: Itty Bitty Banners
Accessories: Scoring Tool, Bitty Banners Framelits, Stampin' Dimensionals

I hope you are having a great Labor Day!
