Daring Color Combo and Big Announcement!
Hi everyone! I managed to get a card cranked out this morning!
I used the sketch from Our Creative Corner!
I came up with this color combo by looking in my paper box and figuring out which colors I NEVER use! I had a bunch of Garden Green hanging around, so I went with that... as you can see I didn't even use any of the plain cardstock because I ended up using some scrap Wild Wasabi which is almost identical to the Garden Green!
The color combo drove me to use the Strawberry from Tart & Tangy. I started with the sketch and the colors first, not the image... it actually worked out well!
This has brought me to a big announcement... beginning this THURSDAY I will be hosting a daring color challenge! Every other week there will be prizes and I will be looking for a design team to come up with samples!
Are you interested in becoming part of the design team? Email me 3 of your best works, it can be a card, scrapbook page or a 3d altered item. There is no compensation for being part of this design team, but your blog will be promoted! My email is riley@divinedancer.com.
