Elements of VT Style

Hello!  Have you recovered from the holiday rush?  Today is my resting day... okay, really it's my stamping day!  HAHA!  We finished up our last family event yesterday evening, so I am excited to be back in my craft room.

This is a little "warm up" card if you will, although it took me forever to make!  It's for two challenges:

Mojo Monday sketch challenge
Use it Tuesday challenge

The Use it Tuesday challenge is one I just found and I love it's goal.. to make you use things in your stash!  This week's challenge is to use your favorite sports team's colors.  I picked Virginia Tech.  I came up with the closest colors I could, Bravo Burgandy, More Mustard, and Crumb Cake.  On this card, I ventured into the land of the lost Prima flowers.  I have tons of them and NEVER use them... so, this was my main challenge to myself.  I also used some retired Autumn Vine designer paper that I have been hording!

The stamp set used here is Elements of Style.  I colored the image with Stampin' Write Markers and an Aqua Painter.  The ribbon is Striped Ribbon in Early Espresso.  The flowers are Non-Stampin' Up.

Thanks for dropping by!  I might have something else to share later!
