Ehhh.....
So the challenge on Splitcoast Stampers was to pick ONE non-neutral color and pair it with white. You were not allowed to use any other colors. I picked real red.... it sounded good at the time. I'm really not sure about this one. I think maybe the image was too small for the sketch I chose or something.
I think I'm going to try this again because I like how one color looks paired with white, I just am not toooooo happy with this one!
The sketch was based on Beate's Weekend Sketch found HERE.
So, what do you think?

Hey Riley! Just saw the link to your blog over on SCS. I never knew you're from Roanoke! I'm in NoVa now, but grew up in Harrisonburg, a few hours up I-81. Anyway, your card today looks great. Sounds like a tough challenge, but you nailed it! Love all the different patterns and the paper pieced elepant!
ReplyDeleteRiley, I really like the red. I think it would also look great with a bigger image, but I totally like the elephant. Too cute. Great job on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteI like it! Way cute. I'm too chicken s*%t to participate in this one - I struggle with being creative with a whole palette of colors!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous take on the sketch.. love it :)
