Wow, it has been a while!

Wow, it has been super long since I've posted... or stamped!  I finally got my guest bedroom/stamp room back in working order today and I had to sit down and use it!  I decided what better way to stamp, than to participate in the Color & Sketch Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.  It is the original forum that I went to when I first started my stamping obsession and I still think they have some of the best weekly challenges.  Although, there are some incredible blogs, too!  It's just a quick and easy find when I want to sit down and get inky.

I bought this stamp set like 2 years ago... I'm not kidding... it never has been used.  WHAT THE HECK!!??  It's a super fun little set and is perfect for any type of birthday or celebration card.  I knew I wanted to use it today.  It's called Sketched Birthday and surprisingly is still current and available for purchase from Stampin' Up!  I'm no longer a Stampin' Up Demonstrator... I got "kicked out" last year after I went on hiatus... haha!  My beautiful Aunt Laura is one though, so I'm sending her all my business... you can order through her HERE!

Anyway... the color challenge this week was a BINGO format.. you could choose and BINGO formation to come up with your colors:

I went for the first row on the left: So Saffron, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantalope, and Soft Sky.  I picked that one for several reasons... #1 I had all of the colors and #2 I have never opened my Pistachio Pudding or Crisp Cantalope supplies... WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?

I think my card came out pretty cute, don't you!?

I hope to be back more often... I know I've said that many times.. but really, Stampin' is my therapy and I need it!

Until next time... have a great day!
