Sending Bright Wishes

Happy Friday!  This week has flown by and I have been too busy to get much stampin' done!  I had a few minutes today and knew I wanted to sit down and do this week's sketch challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers!  I paired it with this week's ColourQ which was a bright combination of Lovely Lilac (retired), So Saffron, Taken with Teal (retired), and Tangerine Tango.  I will admit, this color combo scared me a little, but I do think it's fun.

I used a technique called Distress Stain Watercolor Technique.  I don't own any distress stain inks that they used in the tutorial, so I just used Stampin' Write Markers and an aqua painter pen.  I think it turned out pretty good!  I do with I had added a little detail on the flowers, but oh well.. it's done now.. haha!
