You Made My Day

Hi!  Today my mom and I had a stamp day at her house which means I get to play with some of her stamps and accessories... woo hoo!  I had a few challenges I knew that I wanted to do today.  This is the first one which is the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and the ColourQ

This week's ColourQ was a great combo: Poppy Parade, So Saffron, Coastal Cabana, and Basic Gray.  Even though it does use some retired colors, they are colors that were current during my time away from stamping (but I still bought them, of course) and I haven't used them much!  I especially love Coastal Cabana and I'm sad it isn't a current color.

Anyway!  I had a personal challenge to use whatever stamp set my 2 year old picked out.  She handed me Mosaic Madness which I have never used, but have seen some cute things with.  I decided to make my own designer paper with it.  Then, I used a Sale-a-Bration set from this year called Best Day Ever.  I didn't place an order during Sale-a-Bration this year... first time in about 6 years or more... ahh!  I will NOT let that happen again... haha!

I hope you enjoy my card!  Thanks for stopping by!
